My friends and I were planning to have a trip to Bali this summer vacation. Well. as you already would’ve known, it was immediately cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. But we would still like to continue our plans hopefully soon if everything’s gonna be fine by then. These guide will be one to note and study as I think it is the best that there is out there! In reply to Melody. Hey Melody - January is a tricky one, as the rains are usually short bursts of showers, but can be longer. If you are planning to do the Gili islands as well as Bali, you can likely just pick one as they are all similar enough, same for the Nusa islands, you might just want to do one and not rush too much. For what you are after, Ubud and Uluwatu on Bali sound the best bets.

Hi, Dan. I would love to do Canggu + Ubud over a 2 week period. I would like to go in January, and am concerned that I will be rained out. Thoughts? Also, which island do you think I should do first? My idea is to go to the farthest one first and finish with the closest island to the airport last. I’m a pretty chill traveler, and don’t want to be near nightlife and crowds. Interested in monkeys, temples, yoga, sunsets, and good food. Thanks!
